About Craigpine Timber Ltd

Craigpine Timber Ltd is a private company, established in 1923 as Port Craig Timber. In addition to its forestry assets, the company has a sawmill based in Winton.  The sawmill in Winton, and forestry assests in the surround South Island create employment for both forest contractors and sawmill personnel, and indirectly in the local community of Winton.

A company with a long and rich history, Craigpine Timber Ltd has been exporting timber for over 90 years. Craigpine currently export high quality sawn Radiata Pine and Douglas Fir to over 22 markets around the world. Craigpine hope to be at the forefront of forestry internationally for at least another 90 years.

Craigpine Timber staff believe in traditional face-to-face business and regularly visit offshore markets. This ensures Craigpine staff foster enduring, mutually beneficial business relationships and gain a deeper insight into overseas timber markets.
